Seating Globe, GRP furniture installation

A large globe made from a high gloss GRP outer shell. This striking design includes an integrated seating system, lights and connections for laptops as well as other electronic devices. Situated in Momentum's London offices which are a carefully designed creative space, The globe acts as a striking centre piece to the entrance, amongst stylish furniture and fluid spaces the globe sets the scene with its clean design and supreme quality. The roof, which is attached directly to the ceiling, contains a lighting system that glows, illuminating the seats and table below. This offers both a social space, and a working area if needed often used for informal meetings as well as a work area for guests.

 The external shell houses electrical extensions which provide power to laptops and phones. This prevents the need for cables having to run across the floor.

The GRP itself is manufactured to our highest quality showing virtually invisible part lines giving an illusion of one entire piece. With the seating, and a wooden hand rail round the circumference of the globe that gives a great feeling of a quality seating system. This was a very interesting project for an illustrious company, one which we feel is a great example of our work.
